Mirroring social media, "Bleh" covers up the real human experience with aesthetically pleasing daisy imagery.
 
It’s my interpretation of how social media has made so many of us feel that we need to try and achieve this “picture perfect” life rather than enjoying the messy, unplanned and raw moments that make us all human.
 
I’ve shown this through the juxtaposition of the “aesthetically appealing” daises on top of the porous tongue along with saliva and uneven teeth - alluding to how we have all been made to “digest” this way of thinking. 
The painting was also mindfully painted on a square canvas - as a nod to the infamous Instagram square.
